The JBL Pro Connect app is a universal control application available for Android and iOS phones and tablets. JBL Pro Connect opens up a world of possibilities for hands-on control over a full-suite of mixer, DSP, and Bluetooth features. In this video, we’re going to quickly walk you through adding a speaker to the app for control.
Start by opening the JBL Pro Connect app on your control device. Navigate to the “Add Speakers” menu, where you should find your speaker listed under “Available Loudspeakers”. Before we tell it to connect, go to the speaker’s LCD screen. The EON One Compact can skip this next step and go ahead and connect, as it does not have a screen. Access the main menu and navigate to the “Settings”. In the Settings, you’ll find an option for “BT Control Pairing”. Go ahead and select it when you’re ready to pair the speaker. The speaker will then tell you to pair the control device within 30 seconds. Within this 30 seconds, select the “Connect” option by your speaker in the Pro Connect App. When the speaker attempts to connect to the control device, it will then present you with a PIN number on both the speaker’s screen and in the Pro Connect App. The speaker’s screen will ask you to confirm that the number on both screens match. Press “Yes” to confirm, and your speaker will now be displayed as “connected”. If connecting for the first time, you may get a notification to update the speaker’s firmware. In case of any errors during this process, you can attempt to factory reset the speaker, force close the Pro Connect App, and try again.
